CAS with CASology + Blog Candy!
I hope you had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend! It feels like Monday today for me, but it’s actually Tuesday!
A new cue word is up over at CASology and, with it, some fun & excitement! Today is the beginning of CASology’s 200th challenge! How time has flown!!! In celebration, several of the design team members are offering blog candy on their personal blogs, selecting random winners via a drawing! In order to be eligible to win, you need to do TWO things:
- Enter a card in this week’s challenge by linking up on the CASology blog by Monday at NOON (CDT).
- Leave a comment on the DT members’ blogs on which you want to be eligible to win the blog candy.
Winners will be announced next Tuesday, June 7, on both the CASology blog as well as each of the DT members’ personal blogs.
Here is my blog candy offering!

- yellow chalk marker
- $10 Starbucks gift card (because everything is better with coffee…)
Since the cue word is “CAS”, there were lots of different ideas that went through my head, but I finally settled on the cute Carried Away stamp set & coordinating dies from Mama Elephant that I’ve been wanting to use for quite some time now! I paired them with the You stamp set and coordinating die from Simon Says Stamp.
The big red balloon was die cut from red glitter cardstock & popped up with foam dots. The “you” was die cut from black cardstock & glued directly to the main panel as the string to the balloon. I die cut the little girl and colored her with Copic markers before popping her up with foam dots. I arranged all three of these diagonally on the die cut main panel (Mama Elephant’s Femme Frames), popping it up with foam dots. I positioned the little girl and balloon slightly off the edge to create a little interest on the design.
