CASology #113: GRASS Skirt

It’s time for a new cue word challenge over at CASology and this week we’re thinking about grass!

How you interpret this cue word is entirely up to you!  For me, this word brought visions of a lawn, snakes (*shudder*), ants, picnics and…grass skirts.

Stamps:  Mama Elephant (Sketchy Letters), Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps (Hibiscus 2)

I remembered I had some grass cutting scissors in my stash that haven’t been used in ages and dug them out!  I simply created a little grass skirt on a popped up panel of white cardstock.  The flower image was stamped and sponged with pink and orange inks.  Three hot pink gemstones were added to the flower center for a little sparkle.  I inked the letters of the sentiment in green and turquoise inks to coordinate with the rest of the design.

I hope you’ll take some time this week to visit the rest of the design team member and guest designer blogs!
