CASology #116

It’s time for a brand new cue word challenge over at CASology!  This week?  It’s all about the splatter!  Of course, you may interpret this word any way you’d like!  Go with the obvious or surprise us!

I went with the obvious…

This word reminded me of the fly swatting activity in our house with the cooler days arriving.  What is it about this time of year that makes a fly so desperate to get inside?  They must know their days are numbered.  Unfortunately, the fly stamp images I have did not inspire me much, so I shook off the thought (and I’m sure you’re very relieved) and moved on to Halloween.  I sponged an area of orange ink and then stenciled over it with black ink.  I then spritzed over everything with a bit of gold spritz.  This added a little shimmer and shine.  I used a simple sentiment and called it good.

Be sure and visit the rest of the design team blogs as well as the guest designer’s blog for even more clean and simple inspiration!
