CASology Congrats

Tuesday.  The third day of the week and Monday’s cushion.  That’s how it feels to me, anyway.  Monday gets all the glory, but Tuesday picks up the slack!

Week 203 - Congratulations

CASology has a brand new cue word up and running and it’s a festive one!  I think this week’s cue word can apply to so many of life’s occasions and I’m betting there will be a nice variety of cards in the gallery this week!

2016 June21 CONGRATULATIONS WM

I used STAMPlorations’ Balloons and Banners set to stamp the balloon bouquet, masking the balloons.  The balloons were then colored with Copic markers and sparkly polka dots were added using a Copic blender pen & a clear Wink of Stella marker brush.  The main panel was adhered to a black panel and then popped up with foam dots to add a little dimension.

Be sure and take some time to visit the rest of the design team members’ blogs as well as this week’s guest designer’s blog!  They’ve created some inspiriting designs to help you start brainstorming!

Your balloons are super sweet Melissa and the font on your sentiment is so cool!

A bold and beautiful trio of balloons, Melissa! I also love that art deco feel of the sentiment! A fun, celebratory card!

Balloons are perfect for celebrations Melissa, and what bright colors to stamp those. Your new blog name is nice too! I like the old name as well.

Love the polka dots on the balloons! I’d forgotten about that technique with the colorless blender. Thanks for the reminder!
