CASology GHOST

It’s Halloween week and what better way to celebrate the holiday than with an appropriately themed cue word over at CASology?!

I couldn’t help but go with the obvious on this one, especially when I rediscovered a very cute little ghost stamp hiding away in my wooden stamp stash!  It’s a Michael’s stamp that has other spooky friends keeping it company!

I don’t know how well you can see it on your computer screen, but there is a very subtle sparkly pattern behind Mr. Ghost.  I used a tree stencil to create it, spraying the stencil with Heidi Swapp white Color Shine spray.  I was going for a white on white design since that’s what ghosts remind me of, but ended up mounting the main panel on a piece of black cardstock to dress up things up just a little!  I dressed up the shoes with some patterned paper hoping to add a little interest with a little pop of color.  Mr. Ghost is also sprayed with the white spray!  The speech bubble is from Sweet Stamp Shop and the sentiment is from Prickley Pear.  Two black gemstone eyes completed the design.

I hope you’ll take some time to visit the rest of the design team members’ blogs as well as our guest designer’s blog!  They’ve created some ghostly CAS designs for you!

He's adorable. Yes, I can clearly see your 'ghostly' presence in the background too – very spooky (but it could be pretty, too!)
