Honey Bee News!

Honey Bee News!
I can finally share some exciting news today!  I've been selected to join the Honey Bee Stamps social media design team!  Beginning the last week of June, I'll begin sharing lots of fun Honey Bee Stamps projects on social media and here on my blog! 2017 SocialMediaDT graphic   As you can imagine, I'm beyond thrilled!  I created a card for today's announcement using one of their adorable honey bee themed stamp sets!  I combined the adorable Build A Bee stamp set with a pretty sentiment from the Hooray set for this design. I masked the three lines with distress inks and then stamped the sentiment in black on the middle, yellow stripe.  The bee was stamped, colored with Copics and cut out using the die from the coordinating Build A Bee Honey Cuts.  I added vellum to the wings and then a little sparkle using a Spectrum Noir Clear Glitter Overlay marker.  After this was dry, the bee was popped up using foam adhesive to add a little dimension to the overall design.  Three gold sequins were added to finish. I'm looking forward to sharing crafty cards and projects using the fantastic Honey Bee Stamps product line!  There are so many fun things in the online store and the new design team is going to be such an inspiration! Exciting News!

Exciting News!
I can finally share some super exciting news with you!  I am now on the design team for A Muse Studio!  I can't begin to tell you just how excited I was when I received the email asking me to join the team!  I may or may not have done a little happy dance... A Muse Studio Design Team Blog Badge Melissa Chipperfield   I've had A Muse Studio stamps in my stash for a few years now and to celebrate the exciting news, I used one of my favorite stamp sets, Squeeze the Day.  I watercolored the yellow splash and added a touch of sparkle to it using a Spectrum Clear Sparkle pen.  I stamped and fussy cut the lemon before coloring it with watercolor and adding shine with Crystal Effects.  The lemon image is popped up with foam dots for dimension.  I stamped the pretty sentiment in black ink.  The main panel is framed with black cardstock and popped up with foam dots.  I just love a bright, cheerful card and this particular set is perfect for the job! Get ready for the A Muse March new release!  We're having sneak peeks beginning next Tuesday, March 21!  New products will be available in the online store beginning Friday, March 24!  You'll want to check out the design team members' blogs for an entire week of inspiration!  Be sure and stop back here on my blog to see what I've created with the brand new spring/Easter release!  You're going to love all the new products that are coming!
