A Muse Studio New Release Easter Wreath

A Muse Studio New Release Easter Wreath
Happy Wednesday!  We've made it to mid-week and now there are just two days until the weekend!  April 1st is just three days away!  Can you believe that?! I'm back today with some A Muse Studio new release Easter inspiration!  I combined stamp sets to create a little Easter wreath design.  I used the leaf sprig from the Tiptoe Through the Tulips set with the little polka dot eggs from the new Sweet Easter set to put together a simple circle. 2017 MarchMelissa4 Closeup WM The wreath was stamped in Grass ink first and then I stamped the eggs using Orange, Bermuda and Lemon Whip inks.  I stamped the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink in the center of the wreath.  The eggs were cut out and then attached to the card base using foam adhesive.  That's it!  I used a 5x5 Sugar cardstock base this time as I felt the shape better suited the circular wreath. I wonder if any of you have received product from the new release yet?  What did you pick?  I can't wait to see what you create!  Go ahead and leave me a link in the comments when you post something using the new release and I'll come take a peek!   2017 SignatureContinue Reading...

A Muse Studio Stitched Easter Eggs

A Muse Studio Stitched Easter Eggs
Happy Tuesday!  I'm back with an Easter card today using A Muse Studio's brand new Stitched Eggs Dies!  These dies are so full of possibilities! amusestudio.com For this card, I used a Vanilla cardstock base.  I used Splash inks to create a watercolored look on a piece of watercolor paper before die cutting the stitched eggs. 2017 MarchMelissa8 Closeup WM I then lined up the trio and adhered the individual eggs to the card base using foam adhesive to add a little dimension.  Vanilla twine was tied around one of the eggs to add a little interest to the design.  The sentiment is from the new Happy Spring set and is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink below the eggs.  I finished the card by adding a strip of the pretty new Slim Spring Duo Washi Tape near the bottom of the design. I can just see myself die cutting a pile of these beautiful stitched eggs!  There are six different sizes of eggs in the set, so lots of options for craft projects! I'll be back with another new release idea tomorrow, so be sure and stop back to grab some more inspiration!   2017 Signature  Continue Reading...

A Muse Studio New Release Spring Chicks

A Muse Studio New Release Spring Chicks
Happy Monday!  I'm back with even more A Muse Studio inspiration today as a design team member and, this time, I'm using some of the adorable chicks included in the two new stamp sets!  I used the larger chick from the Happy Spring set and added two of the little chicks from the Sweet Easter set to create a trio of cuteness.  I simply stamped the chicks and then colored them using a little Neon Yellow Splash ink and a small Aqua Brush to lightly apply the color.  Then sentiment was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and the one-layer design was done!  A quick design that can be used for a quick note or a spring/Easter occasion! amusestudio.com Be sure and check out all A Muse Studio has to offer!  The new release is so fun and perfect for spring/Easter projects you may be brainstorming! It's another cloudy day here today.  I tend to miss the sun after several days of gray overhead, but at least we have milder temperatures now and going outdoors is a bit more pleasant.   2017 SignatureContinue Reading...

Today is the third and final day of sneak peeks for A Muse Studio's upcoming new release!  That means tomorrow is release day!  Doing a little happy dance, are you?! For today's sneak peek, I chose to create a watercolored design using one of the adorable bunnies in the new release along with the awesome new stitched egg die cuts! 2017 MarchMelissa3 Closeup WM I used a mixture of the fantastic Splash Inks to watercolor the eggs and main panel (using watercolor paper).  These sprays are so fun to use and, as you can see, can be used in other ways than the obvious!  I stamped the adorable bunny in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Vanilla cardstock before cutting it out and adhering it to the main panel with foam adhesive.  I attached the main panel to the card base using foam adhesive to add a little more dimension. A Muse Studio Sneak Peek: Day 2

A Muse Studio Sneak Peek: Day 2
It's Day 2 of sneak peeks over at A Muse Studio!  Today, I'm sharing a super clean and simple design I created with the new Happy Spring stamp set, being released this Friday!  It's a cute little set and this adorable bunny is one of the critters included in it! I stamped and fussy cut the bunny (coordinating dies will be available with the new release).  I die cut a little bow tie using one of the new release gingham cardstocks and the mini bow tie die.  I popped up the assembled bunny & bow tie with foam adhesive on the white cardstock base after stamping the simple sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. 2017 MarchMelissa9 Closeup WM Such a simple card and you could use a variety of patterned cardstock to vary the bow tie a bit!  Great for mass producing, but with a variety of patterns and colors! Tomorrow is the final day of sneak peeks!  You might want to get your wish list started because Friday the entire new release will be available in the online store!  Don't forget to follow along with A Muse on Instagram and Facebook for the latest updates and inspiration!
