Check this Out!

It’s time for a new cue word challenge over at CASology!  With the July 4th holiday fast approaching here in the USA, this word suits this week just fine!

My first thought was “free as a bird,” but then shopping came to mind and I couldn’t shake that line of thought!  Who doesn’t love a good deal?!

Stamps:  Paper Smooches
Paper:  SU cardstock (Brushed Silver, Basic Black, Gumball Green), Paper Trey cardstock (white)
Ink:  Encore (silver), SU (Gumball Green)
Accessories:  Paper Smooches cart die, silver gemstones, foam dots

DS2 joined me with this week’s challenge and wanted me to be sure and share his creation!  He loves to draw and do crafty things at this point in his life!  Cuteness, no?!

Be sure and visit the design team members’ blogs as well as this week’s guest designer’s blog for even more inspiration!  Then, don’t forget to link up your own FREE creation by Sunday at 4:00 p.m. (CDT)!

Your card makes me think of the 'extreme coupon' show – what a great, creative idea! Love DS2's card, too! Will he be taking over during your mat leave?

Your card is a piece of genius Melissa! Love the way you have the shopping cart on a slope and the flashes of that gorgeous green with the grey. My daughter was with me while I was looking and we both melted into a symphony of squealing when we saw your son's cute card! Vicky x

Melissa, your card made me chuckle…it reminded me of when my mom would see a crowded store parking lot and ask, “What, are they giving stuff away for free?!” Great silver shopping card, love the angle…so cute! Your son's card is adorable, too…love that free bird heading for a tree!
