I’m back over on the Coffee Loving Card Makers blog today featuring Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps!
With so many sweet, whimsical images in the store, I found myself wishing I had more creative time to make more than one card, but alas, real life happens on a daily basis in my house! I settled on the Angie stamp set. After all, it’s coffee themed and has my picture on it (not really, but it could be me on any given morning…)! If only I looked that cute with disheveled hair and p.j.’s!
I stamped and then colored the little gal with Copic markers before fussy cutting. I used a Heidi Swapp stencil and sponged the chevron pattern onto the card base before adhering the main image with foam dots. The sentiment and a trio of gold sequins were added to finish the design. I also added a little sparkle to the hair clips with clear Stickles.
Spring break will arrive here on the home front later in the week, so I’m trying to wrap my brain around simple plans to make things run smoothly with all four kids at home. Baking, book reading, crafts and outings are part of the game plan. It’s looking like we may be in for some more white stuff too, so that should provide a change of pace for a day or so! I’m so over snow at this point, but if it makes the kids happy and I don’t have to be out driving in it, I’m content to settle in at home for a day or two, watching it accumulate & providing hot chocolate & marshmallows for rosy cheeked children! I’d considered putting away all the snow gear over the weekend, but it’s a good thing I didn’t!
Don’t forget the Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop is going on right now and there are tons of prizes thanks to our wonderful sponsors over on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog! Be sure and link up your card by this Friday to be eligible to win!
Have a marvelous Monday!
