Country. At first glance, this word brings memories of fun times with my brothers growing up. Forts built in the trees. Tree house drawings that never seemed to leave the paper and materialize outside. Baseball. Hide and seek. Oh, the fun we had in the country! These days, country brings thoughts of the farm where my in-loves live. Pigs. Cows. Wheat. So many ways one could interpret this week’s cue word over at CASology, but I’m going to leave that to your imagination! Here is what I came up with:
|Stamps: Mama Elephant, Inkadinkado (sentiment)|
I decided to go with classic black and white, adding just a pop of color and glitter to the kite! One layer except the kite is popped up with a foam dot.
You’ll want to be sure and visit the other design team members’ blogs as well as our two guest designers’ blogs this week because there are some fantastic interpretations of “country” to inspire you! You’ll find yourself smiling at their creativity! Then, don’t forget to link up your own creations on the challenge blog by Sunday at 4:00 p.m. (CDT) for your chance to win a gift certificate from 7 Kids College Fund!
