Jump Start the Holidays Hop with Hero Arts
It’s time to get hopping on the Jump Start the Holidays Hop with Hero Arts! You should have arrived here from Kimberly’s blog.
We at A Blog Named Hero are joining Hero Arts and Lea Lawson as she celebrates her month-long Comeback Party and creating holiday cards (including Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, etc)! Lea began her party on October 7, so you’ll want to visit her blog to check out all the fun that’s been happening already this month!
There is a $25 gift certificate up for grabs, so be sure and hop and comment on all the blogs on the hop by Friday, November 10, at 11:59 PST!
I chose to use the Hero Arts Tree Trunks background stamp (S5477) as the foundation for my clean & simple design. I created a square 5×5 card and die cut a stitched square main panel before stamping the tree trunks in black ink. I stamped a little trio of leaves from the Hero Arts Fresh Herbs set, sprinted them with a little Heidi Swapp Teal Color Shine Spray and, once dry, individually cut them out before popping them up on the main panel with foam adhesive. I cut a narrow strip of white cardstock and stamped the three small words from the Hero Arts Color Layering Koi set in black. This little piece was then popped up with foam adhesive over the trees.
The assembled main panel was then popped up on the card base using foam adhesive.
Now it’s time to head on over to Michelle’s blog to continue on the hop! If you want to see the full list or need to start from the beginning, visit the Hero Arts blog!
Have a fabulous Friday!
