Today is a special day.  It was my grandmother’s birthday.  She passed away about a year ago and the memories live on.  If I had to choose one word to describe her it would be “Peacemaker.”  I won’t forget her twinkling eyes, her laugh and her wonderful smile.  I made this card thinking of my own mother today as it was her mother that we lost.

Stamps:  Paper Trey (Women of Life), Hampton Arts (Beautiful Butterfly)
Ink:  SU Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White (around edges of black circle)
Paper:  SU Rich Razzleberry, Basic Black cardstocks, Paper Trey white cardstock
Accessories:  Sizzix embossing folder, SU Rich Razzleberry polka dot ribbon, SU 2.5-inch circle punch & large oval punch, foam squares (used to pop out the butterfly), sponge (used around sentiment oval), pearl

This card was for this week’s Free for All Challenge (#50) over at Splitcoast Stampers.

I love your card! It's something my own Grandma would love – purple was her favorite color. That's very thoughtful of you.
