The Cat’s Pajamas Yeti to Party

It’s sneaky peek week over at The Cat’s Pajamas and today is Day #1!

We’re featuring the new Yeti to Party set and I think you’ll love it!  For some reason, I’m feeling an urge to create valentines and we haven’t even gotten to Thanksgiving yet!  I’ll admit, Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite holidays, however.  It’s the child in me.

The cute little monsters in this set are sure to capture your heart!  I chose the one-eyed beast because I loved the punny sentiment that pairs with it so well!  I used a heart shaped die to frame the design elements, but kept it white so as not to overwhelm the overall look.  Besides, the little critter needs to be the highlight of the show, right?!

The little monster & cluster of balloons were stamped, colored with Copic markers and cut out using the coordinating dies for the set.  The fun sentiment was stamped directly on the die cut heart before being popped up to one side of the card base.  The monster & balloons were also popped up with foam adhesive and a single, silver holeless sequin was added to the critter’s eye for a little attention grabbing fun.  A little sparkle was added to the hearts on the balloons using a clear glitter marker brush.
