A Date with CASology
It’s time for the first new cue word of 2015 over at CASology! How appropriate is this one?! Do you have your calendars all filled out and hanging on the wall (or fridge, as in my case)?
I went with the obvious this week, thinking of Valentine’s Day!
I used watercolor paper for the main panel and watercolored the main image. I added a little sparkle to the girl olive’s lips and added three gold sequins…although, after I attached them, I changed my mind…oops! Too late! In this case, I don’t think embellishments were really necessary. Ah well.
You are going to want to play along this week as there are not one, but three prizes up for grabs from Cindy B Designs, our sponsor!
Say hello to the design team members and this week’s guest designer on their blogs and find out how the cue word inspired them!
Don’t forget to link up your own DATE creation on the challenge blog by Monday at NOON (CST) for a chance to win one of the prizes!
It’s a two hour school delay here this morning due to an overnight snow storm and frigid temperatures. The boys have lots of energy and are headed outdoors…for a little while, anyway. With negative temperatures, they don’t stay out very long!
Have a terrific Tuesday!
