A Good Day
I’m playing along with the Muse card making club for the very first time this week! Just look at what we have for our inspirational piece…a beauty of a card!
I drew my inspiration from the bright, happy colors and the way the collection of words was framed by the miniature images. I simply dipped a pencil eraser in some different color inks to create the dots! I popped up the main panel to add a little dimension and added a punched butterfly and tiny gemstones for interest.
Stamps: Mama Elephant Paper: Paper Trey cardstock (white) Ink: SU (Bashful Blue, Daffodil Delight, Gumball Green, Real Red) Accessories: Martha Stewart butterfly punch, gemstones, foam dots |
I am also entering this card into the current Simon Says Stamp Anything Goes Challenge!
We’re in for a day of rain today! Heavy rain and flooding are a good possibility, by the sound of things! It’s a very good thing I mowed yesterday!
Have yourself a great Thursday!

So simple but this really stands out in the gallery, great creation 🙂
I love your interpretation. I have often used a pencil eraser to make dots but never thought of using it with ink. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
Light and delightful!
LOVE this, Melissa, the colours, the glorious white space, the teeny bling … gorgeous! Anita 🙂
Oh, I do hope you aren't flooding, Melissa! It is so wonderful to see you in the lineup at MUSE! Your pencil eraser dots are so cool and the whole card is so perfectly balanced and so YOU!! (And WHY is it I paid money for dot stamps??)
