A Marvel of Nature
There’s a new sketch challenge over at Prickley Pear! I love sketches because they help get my mojo flowing! I start with a sketch, choose an image and go from there, choosing colors, papers, a sentiment (if needed) and embellishments.
I chose to use one of Prickley Pear’s great transparencies for my card called Giraffe – Clear Tag. There are more giraffe images (rubber stamps!) in the store too if you adore giraffes!
Make a card using the current sketch (see below my card photo) and your Prickley Pear stamps by October 31, for your chance to win a free Clear Stamp Set and a coordinating die! How great is that?!
Supplies:
Stamps – Prickley Pear (Marvelous)
Paper – SU So Saffron, Basic Black, Crumb Cake cardstocks, SU DP (So Saffron) – behind transparency
Ink – Memento Tuxedo black
Accessories – Prickley Pear Giraffe Clear Tag Transparency, SU Basic Black ribbon, diamond brads, Cuttlebug embossing folder, foam squares (popped up main image & sentiment panels), Xyron machine (to apply adhesive to transparency)

Melissa! What a fantastic card. The Giraffe is wonderful, and the colors! It's such a fun and great take on the sketch!
