A Pointed Subject
Geometry was never one of my stronger subjects in school and I’d rather not see another proof. Ever. I’ll gladly play with triangles on a card design, though, and that’s exactly what we’re doing over at CASology this week!
I used triangles to create a very simple one-layer (that is, if you don’t count the gemstone) card this week. With yesterday’s gloomy sky and the departure of color from the autumn landscape, I felt like creating something colorful!
Stamps: Precious Remembrance |
I inked the line of triangles with a rainbow ink pad I had in my stash to create a diagonal frame for the simple sentiment. The red gemstone was added for interest. Both the triangles and the sentiment are from Precious Remembrance, our sponsor this week! Be sure and play along and link up your creation over at CASology this week because this week’s winner will receive the Thanks stamp set as a prize! You may want to visit their online store too as they recently had a new release!
Before you get started, you’ll want to visit the design team members’ blogs as well as our guest designer’s blog for even more inspiration!
