A Prickley Pear Monday Mouse

Happy Monday! I hope you had a pleasant weekend!  Mine was decent, but I must admit, I’ve had better.  Must be the lack of sleep and intense days last week filled with a sick child and a teething child!  Poor DD has lower molars getting ready to erupt and when I look in her mouth right now, I see two big bulges under her gums.  I can see why she is Little Miss Cling Wrap.  DS2 is thankfully feeling much better and can return to school!  Whew!

Today, I’m sharing a Prickley Pear creation which uses one of their cute stamps in the store.

Stamps:  Prickley Pear (Buster, Holly & Berries (hat), Twas the Night Before Christmas)

Buster is a little mouse who chooses to be a rebel on Christmas Eve (see here).  He’s very much awake and roaming, stylish hat and all!  He borrowed the paper pieced hat from the cat while the feline was sleeping (see the Holly & Berries clear set).  The little dotted trail is paper pierced and then filled in with a touch of sparkle using a Wink of Stella brush marker.  Coloring was done with Copics.  Sparkle on the hat was created using clear Stickles.

Now it’s on into the new week!  After today and tomorrow, I’m hoping the rest of the week will be fairly calm.  First up, a child who needs a tooth pulled due to space issues and a school holiday concert.
