I don’t know about you, but certain colors evoke particular memories or emotions from me! Take, for instance, the color purple. When combined with this week’s cue word over at CASology,

one memory came to mind right away!  Do you remember that silly song called, “The Purple People Eater?”  If you don’t, here is a link to YouTube so you don’t miss out!  I’ll apologize in advance just in case you end up with this song stuck in your head for the rest of the day!

The oh-so-fun Alley Way Stamps is our sponsor this week and I used the Monster Mash clear set to create my card!  The possibilities are endless with this fun, kid-at-heart set!  With little boys in the house, I can see myself using this set many, many times!

I paper pieced the monster and popped him up with some foam dots for dimension.  I added a little piece of purple washi tape and added some little black dots on either side of my simple sentiment using a black marker to create a continuous line from top to bottom.

I hope you’ll join us over at CASology this week!  We can’t wait to see what the word SONG makes you think of!

Be sure to visit the design team members’ blogs for more fun inspiration!

Then, don’t forget to link up your own creation by Sunday at 4 p.m. (CST) to qualify for a chance to win this week’s prize from Alley Way Stamps!

Have a terrific Tuesday!

I think they call that an ear worm. When a song gets in your brain and you can't get it out! lol! This is so fun and immediately recognizable as the song.

Oh, do I remember that song! You're much too young to remember it unless your Mom, like me, sang it to you as I did to my girls. We would always have a giggle fit! A fun song and a fun card! Thanks for the memory!
