A Snail’s Pace
Today is off to a good start:
* DS3 slept until 7 a.m. (ah, bliss!)
* It’s cooler outside.
* We got some much needed rain.
* I got some coloring time.
It’s the little things that make all the difference in a day! We don’t have anything big and eventful planned for the rest of the day and that’s okay. Home is the best place to be! 🙂
I realized this morning that I’d forgotten to send my youngest brother a birthday card. Tomorrow is his birthday, so I should have put a card in the mail yesterday in order for it to arrive on time! I was going to make him a card with this adorable snail from Whimsy Stamps. As it turned out, my finished card isn’t very masculine at all, so I’m going to have to make another card today! Now, isn’t that a shame?! hehehe! I’m submitting this as another entry for Crissy Armstrong’s DT call and hoping for the best! I’m working as fast as I can on mommy time. Sure and steady…the best a snail can do! 🙂

Love all the bright colours and the Stickles on his shell is the perfect touch. 🙂
I love your treatment of the balloon, in cutting it out and laying it over the ribbon. That's so creative! Lovely sketch too!
