A Tree of Cats
Happy Monday! A new week with new opportunities! A fresh start. Don’t you just love that thought? I sure do and I’ve got some things I want to accomplish this week, so I need to stay on task!
Today I’m sharing a Halloween card I made using an image from Prickley Pear. A perfect tree for the upcoming holiday! Black cats are one of those things that go along with Halloween. I used a black and white color scheme and added a splash of yellow by coloring the cats’ eyes yellow and then embellishing with yellow buttons and ribbon. A very simple card, really, but I’m happy with the result. Simple is always good! Especially on a Monday.
Supplies:
Stamps – Prickley Pear (Cat Tree)
Paper – Gina K white CS, SU Basic Black CS, 7 Gypsies DP (Venice)
Ink – Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories – yellow buttons, SU Daffodil Delight ribbon, CM cutting system (circle)

I live your color choices! The yellow buttons and ribbon serve to make those eyes stand out and become the focus. And I now have another Prickley Pear stamp on my wish list.
What a brilliant stamp! Love the yellow eyes on all those cool cats and the patterned paper is perfect for this card. 🙂
