Black as Night
It’s Tuesday and time for a new cue word at CASology! This week, we’re exploring the darkness of black! With Halloween arriving in just a couple more days, this word probably brings to mind some rather scary things! I definitely had night on my mind, but since I don’t really care for scary things, I went with a more relaxing theme!
I don’t know if I like this card much, but I’m giving it a chance by posting it here! Some days are like that, aren’t they?! I simply masked a moon with a punched circle in a Post It note and added star sequins. At the last minute, I decided to add some twinkle to the stars by adhering some little clear gemstones to the stars! I stamped the sentiment on top of the masked circle in black.
I hope you’ll play along with the BLACK challenge this week! I think this is going to be an interesting week, I think! Be sure to visit the design team members’ blogs as well as our guest designer’s blog for inspiration!

Melissa, I was immediately drawn to the ethereal effect of your moon…slightly hazy, so realistic! Great take on the cue this week…and perfectly CAS, as always!
I never even thought of 'night' Melissa, but I love what you have done with it, it really does look relaxing
