Black & White
Prickley Pear stamps: Poppies Cluster, Spring Scalloped Circles (sentiment) |
After a weekend of sweet birthday treats and a wonderful, long family bike ride, it’s time to ease back into weekly routines! This morning, swimming lessons begin for DS1, so I’m a bit nervous for him. I didn’t care for swimming lessons as a girl, so crossing my fingers he will like them (or tolerate them) better than I did!
Today, I’m sharing a simple anniversary card that I made for today’s Design Team Monday over at Prickley Pear. I simply stamped the poppies on the lower left of the main panel, the sentiment on the lower right and added a small cluster of gemstones to each blossom. I layered this on a piece of black cardstock and mounted it all with foam dots onto the card base. For an anniversary or wedding card, I really like black and white. I don’t always know the chosen colors for a wedding I’m attending, so black and white seems to be a pretty safe choice!
Tomorrow, I’ll be back with my very first creation for CASology, the brand new CAS challenge blog! Don’t forget to go check it all out over there and follow along! We’ve got some great CAS cards all ready to go for the first challenge!
