A Blog Named Hero October Critter Challenge
Happy first week of October! Can you believe it’s already here?!
It’s time for a new challenge over at A Blog Named Hero and we’re digging out all those cute critters in our stashes! With Lawn Fawn collaborating with us this month, it’s a piece of cake to find such things in my own personal stash! Love their critters!
I started my design by die cutting the main panel with the Stitched Journaling Card Die from Lawn Fawn. I then stamped the Hero Arts Tree Trunks (S5477) image on the main panel with Memento London Fog gray ink. I then die cut a heart out of the center using the heart die from the Lawn Fawn Stitched Party Banners Die set. The little squirrel was stamped and colored with Copic markers before being cut out. The apple was also stamped and colored with Copic markers. Both of these stamps are from Lawn Fawn’s Forest Feast set. I added a little Crystal Effects to the apple for shine. The sentiment was stamped in black and framed with a simple banner die from the same Stitched Journaling Card Die set used for the main panel. Once all the design elements were ready, I popped them all up using foam adhesive for dimension.
I hope you’ll join us this month as we create with critters! There are so many adorable images out there and I’m sure you have a few somewhere in your stash!
Have a marvelous Monday!
