Busy-ness
Monday always brings with it a list of projects for the week ahead. We woke up to gray skies this morning after a night of rain. The sun is trying to shine a little now and, for that, I’m grateful!
Today, I’m going to start painting in our master bathroom. Last week, we finally closed on the sale of our previous home and are ready to start personalizing our current one! Lots to think about, but exciting to think of what the end result will look like in a few years! Here’s a before picture for you as I know how much I love looking at before and after pictures! 🙂
The current brown color is okay, but I’m looking for a color with more calming qualities. Brown doesn’t do that for me. DH says he’s fine with the brown, but I’m not a brown kinda gal! Color is a good thing in my book! Afterward, I’ll have to decide if I want the rest of the bathroom walls to be gray or a khaki color. Choices, choices! For now, I’m off to prime over the brown! Not sure if any stamping will get done today, but hoping I can stamp later as a reward for my hard work!

Looks pretty soothing to me LOL! But I do like color too! And you're picking one of my favorite colors I think. That will just as soothing!
I didn't know you had a spot this awesome in your bathroom!! Wish we had a tub I could soak in on occasion…!
Looks like we just might be in the same sort of situation…bathroom joys. I have to say…LOVE the tub. We made a decision to go without one in our master bath. Hope I don't regret it…I will let you know. No matter what color you choose, I think once the water is running, and whomever is soaking…they will relax. Have fun!
Wow!!! Now that's what I call a bathtub!! If I had something like that at home I might never leave the bathroom… 🙂
@Darcie & Jen – Believe it or not, I haven't even used the tub yet and we've lived here almost a year!!! *gasp!* I've never lived in a house with such a tub in my life! LOL! I'm a shower kinda gal, but I do need to try it out! DH wants to work on it a bit first, though…clean the jets and tinker on the motor a bit. 🙂 A bit leery on the whole jet cleaning thing, but need to get something done so I can put the tub to good use relaxing in it!!!! Would be a treat! 🙂
