Carpe Diem!
Are you up and at ’em this morning? It’s time to seize the day and enjoy your weekend! It’s also time for a new color duo challenge over at Dynamic Duos and this one is a monochromatic beauty!
My dear mother loves purple these days, so I’m thinking this card will be heading her way shortly! I used Basic Gray as a neutral, dry embossing it and using it as a background panel. Both the flourish and sentiment are from Verve stamps. I’m discovering beautiful things in my stash and realizing I need to start digging deeper!
Head on over to the rest of the design team members’ blogs to see the wonderful cards they have created for this week’s challenge! You won’t be disappointed! Then, don’t forget to link up your own creation on the challenge blog by Thursday at noon (PDT)! Hope to see you there!
Have a super Saturday!

What a lovely design and the embossing gives it extra dimension! Did you know that verification is turned on in your comments? Just wondering…
Fantastic card and you've used my favorite embossing folder too! Very pretty.

(Do you know you have word verification on?)
I did know about the word verification! I turned it off, but immediately started getting spam! Grr. Does the word verification drive a lot of you crazy or is it tolerable? I could probably deal with the spam if it would make my blog readers happier! LOL! 🙂
