CASology #150: GRADUATION
It’s Tuesday and time for a brand new cue card challenge over at CASology! It’s that time of year when graduations have been going on for a few weeks now.
I feel just a little sorry for kids heading off to college from high school. Do you realize just how many careers there are out there to choose from?! When I graduated from high school, I thought I had an idea of what I wanted to do for a career, but somewhere along the way, I ended up veering off into something different. Back in grade school, I wanted to teach 4th grade. In high school, I decided maybe nursing would be a good career. Then, my senior year, I started wondering if maybe a business career in the medical field would be my cup of tea. Enter a coop experience in a dental office as a business manager and the rest is history. I went on to be a dental hygienist! Do you see what I mean?! Choices!!!

This card pretty much sums up my feelings whenever I attend a graduation. I just want to be an encouragement to those who are just beginning their journey…and those that are getting close to “graduating” from this thing called Life.
Be sure and go take a look at what the rest of the design team and this week’s guest designer created for inspiration!

Great perspective on life, and also a wonderful card. I never thought of using an image like those puzzle pieces for a grad card, so thanks for the inspiration.
A wonderful graduation card and your sentiment is so so true
This is marvelous, what a fun idea!! I started out wanting to teach art, the an interior designer and finally ended up a floral designer!! Well at least it was all artsy LOL!!
Fabulous card! Love hearing how it came upon! 😉
Hey Melissa!! You are so right!! We are still putting pieces together!! Great card!!
Creative and lovely!!! Wow…so clever
I must admit, I also wonder what career/life choices lie ahead for my boys. My career has had its fair share of twists and turns. It wouldn't surprise me if they end up in fields that haven't been invented yet. Who knows? Whatever they choose, I just hope they are happy, and feel like they are making a positive contribution to society. Such an apt and inspiring card for a graduate.
Brilliant! Such a great image and sentiment for a grad card. Sometimes I think I'll never quite find all the pieces for life but as long as I've got the gist of the full picture it'll be okay. 🙂
I don’t always comment, but I always admire how you can effortlessly create a CAS card. You truly are a queen of CAS, Melissa. 🙂
