CASology #158: Precious
For me, trying to think about what “precious” means to me boiled down to one thing…life itself.
I used a combination of stamp sets from Precious Remembrance Shop, our sponsor this week. There are so many wonderful images and sentiments in their store and I often find myself combining multiple sets when creating a card!
Be sure and leave the design team & our guest designers some blog love! They’d love to hear from you!
Since I got it in my head that I needed to declutter and put a fresh coat of paint on our office/playroom, I haven’t spent much time in the craft room…again. Feels like I’m becoming a broken record when I say that! I just finished the painting yesterday and now I have these piles of books from the bookshelves and other odd-n-end things that I really don’t want to put back in the room! Goodwill may be seeing some of me later this week!
Summer seems to be filled all the way up to when school begins! School registration is tomorrow (secretly, I’m not mentally ready…) and then there is a school orientation for DS1, most likely an orientation for DS3, yearly checkups for four and school shopping for three to be done! Add in a couple weekends of company and a four-day church convention and you get the idea. As I get older, I’m beginning to realize why most of us are ready for the slower autumn days once summer is over. I wouldn’t skip summer for anything, though! It’s like a season of excitement that just has to happen and it’s all good.

Melissa, I can SO relate to your end-of-summer feelings, all around! So busy, so many piles of things to do, and I'm never ready for it to end! Yes, indeed, life itself is very precious. That encompasses it all! I love your jar and the way the heart remains while everything else is flying! Your card says so much with so few words…now that is a talent!
You are doing a great job capturing the precious moments!

Hey Melissa!! I love how you interpreted the cue card!! Life”s moments are so precious!! The other day my son was just born and I was worried about if he was breathing at night and now he is 17 and about to go off to college. What moments did I miss? Thank you that!
