CASology #82: BOLD
It’s a new challenge week over at CASology and we’re getting creatively bold! This word brings to mind colors and a few other things for me. One of those other things is coffee! Somewhere around the beginning of motherhood for me, I started drinking coffee more regularly for some odd reason. I preferred the mild to medium roast coffees. I still drink those, but these days, I definitely don’t mind a bold coffee when it’s available!

I went with a monochromatic color scheme rather than a bold one as I’ve always liked kraft cardstock on coffee themed cards! I used a border stamp from The Craft’s Meow to add a little to this very simple card. The sentiment is a fun one from Elzybells! Both The Craft’s Meow and Elzybells are no longer in business. Sad, because I loved their stamps!

Another two-hour school delay here this morning due to extreme cold. This has been quite the winter, I tell you! The boys are enjoying their additional time before school and I’m enjoying the ability to ease more effortlessly into the morning!

Funny how motherhood often brings along a love of coffee with it! (At least it did for me!) I love your take on the cue…very clever! What a great CAS layout, too.
On a side note, we have had our share of 2-hour delays, too, and I have decided that I really like it when school starts at 10AM! We are all so much more relaxed — and ready on time! Looking at another snow day possble later this week…what a winter!
