CASology #84: PAINT
It’s Tuesday! Time for a new cue word over at CASology! This week’s word might just get you thinking about all those spring painting projects you’d like to get started on! Problem for me is, it’s just a tad too chilly outside to open windows, so I have to wait a while. This will give me plenty of time to change my mind a few more times regarding colors. There are too many choices out there when it comes to paint colors, don’t you think?! It’s like taking a child into a candy store with walls covered with choices and then you can’t figure out why they aren’t making a final decision in a timely manner and keep changing their mind!
Thankfully, CASology keeps things simple and I chose to keep my design extremely simple with a paint swatch image from Sweet Stamp Shop. I was going to get all colorful, but decided to do something more monochromatic using black and grays.
Stamps: Sweet Stamp Shop (Color Wheel, Cityscape – sentiment) |
I wracked my brain for a sentiment to go with the image. It was a challenge because of my choice not to use bright colors. I could have used “You color my world.” or something similar, but alas, I hadn’t used color! The sentiment I finally settled on made me laugh a little as I thought of it in relation to the cue word.
Please be sure and visit the rest of the design team members’ blogs as well as this week’s guest designer’s blog for more fresh inspiration! Then, don’t forget to link up your own PAINT creation by Sunday at 4:00 p.m. (CST)!

Love this monochrome take on the cue card – you always have such clever ideas!
A beautifully simple card!
Faboulous card!!! Love the way you came up with a paint swatch card. Perfect CAS and Perfect take on PAINT. May x
Love this, and especially the sentiment. I have made quite a few cards using 'you color my world' as a sentiment, but it is hard to find the right occasion for that one. Yours is much more practical.
Cute card Melissa!
Brilliant!
You are so clever, Melissa! I love how you mind works, and I really LOVE this card!
Love, love, love it Melissa!
