CASology #95: SPLASH
Onward and forward, though, right?! This week’s cue word brings so many fun summer memories to my mind and it was a bit hard to narrow the list of ideas down to one! I finally chose to use a little duck that looks like I really want to be feeling…
I used some Creative Cuts from Mama Elephant to create the rolling water, stamped the Creative Memories duck and colored him before fussy cutting the image. The duck and water were all popped up with foam dots for dimension. By clustering all my design elements at the bottom third of the card front, I preserved plenty of white space! In my mind, no embellishment were needed on this!
Please be sure and leave some blog love on the design team member and guest designer blogs this week! They work so faithfully each week to provide the wonderful inspiration that they do! What a team!

Then, don’t forget to link up your own SPLASH creation on the challenge blog by Monday at noon (CDT) for your chance to win the prize from STAMPlorations, this week’s sponsor!
After a long weekend of family and friends, today actually feels more like Monday than Tuesday to me. We had a lovely Mother’s Day and I indulged a bit by making my favorite, white chocolate raspberry cheesecake!
As always, the kids had such a blast with their grandparents…
…and when we weren’t entertaining the kids, the men kept busy working on house projects! I was granted a date with my DH and an errand run sans children or DH! Life really is good.

What a fun card. Love that little duck–he looks so relaxed and happy. I am hanging my head in shame now, because I am so far behind in looking at all my fave blogs, that I never even noticed you were late. So, it's all good, right?
