CASology: Flight of the Bumblebee
I immediately thought of the Flight of the Bumblebee musical piece, one of those pieces I have never attempted to play. I find it fascinating enough just to watch someone else play it!
I stamped the elements of my design in a triangular layout for visual appeal. Being a one layer card, I wanted to be sure and add a little interest, so brushed a little sparkle on the bee’s wings and flower center using a Wink of Stella brush marker. I hand drew the flight path using a fine tipped black marker. All three stamps are from The Craft’s Meow, a stamp company that sadly is no longer in business.
Be sure and stop by the blogs of the rest of the design team and this week’s guest designer! They’ve created some fantastic FLIGHT cards!
Be sure and link up your own creation on the challenge blog by Monday at NOON (CDT) for your chance to win a prize from Serendipity Stamps, this week’s sponsor!

So simple and clever. Sure to inspire as well. I did not think of that piece until I saw your bumble bee.
So sweet — and simplicity at its finest!!!
So cute and simple. I remember someone playing Flight of the Bumblebee in fifth grade music class, a memory from long ago. I love the photos of your children, especially when they are black and white.
Adorable!!
Great use of tiny stamps! And now I'm singing Jesus Christ Superstar (what's the buzz, tell me what's happening!)
Simple, clever, and totally CUTE!!!
Great inspiration! Fantastic card! My fave of the week! Just love those tiny images!
