CASology FLY

It’s Tuesday and time for a new cue word over on the CASology challenge blog!  We’re FLYing this week with Rubber Dance Stamps as our sponsor!

I used one of the pretty birds from the A Little Birdie… set to create a simple thank you design.  I used white watercolor paper and splattered brown watercolor paint on it to create a simple neutral colored background.  Once dried, I stamped the bird image in black ink.  I kept things very clean and simple by not coloring the image at all!  The sentiment (from the Just A Note set) was stamped beside the bird in black and then three clear round drops were added as embellishments to add a little interest and dimension.  The assembled main panel was framed with black cardstock before being attached to the white card base using foam adhesive.
