CASology GLASS
It’s been awhile, I know! October was a busy month and, as I type this, I’ve still got a few things to wrap up from a full month of fall family photo sessions with my photography business! October is a busy month for photographers with the leaves turning beautiful colors, reminding families to schedule a session before the snow starts flying!
I had a card made for this week’s CASology challenge before the busy photography season hit, so I’m actually jumping in and participating this week! Hooray!
This cue word has so many possiblities, doesn’t it? I went with eyeglasses for my design. Love Cynthia has some rather adorable girl images and I had to use one from my stash to create a classic black, red and white design. The main image was stamped and fussy cut before being colored with Copic markers. The main panel was die cut with a die from My Favorite Things. I adhered a line of washi tape to the lower portion of the main panel, stamped the sentiment above it and then popped up the little girl with foam adhesive, extending her just a little over the edge. The assembled main panel was then attached to the card base with more foam adhesive. I applied a bit of glossy accents to the glasses for a little shine.
I hope you’ll play along with us this week! Just be sure and link up your creation by Monday, November 19, at 9:00 a.m!
