CASology GLISTEN
It’s Tuesday and time for a new cue word over at CASology! This week is bound to inspire a pretty gallery!
With Poppystamps returning as our sponsor, I combined a couple of their stamp sets to create my arctic themed design. I’m pretty sure Antarctica glistens. A lot.
After stamping and fussy cutting the iceberg and sweet little polar bear, I used a Copic marker on the bear’s cheeks and ears. The iceberg was covered with Diamond Stickles for the GLISTEN-ing effect. I used a Mama Elephant landscape die to create the grounding water piece and then popped everything up with varying heights of foam dots. The little red heart was also colored with Copic markers, fussy cut and popped up. I stamped the sentiment below the scene to preserve white space in the main portion of the card.
I hope you’ll take some time and visit the design team members’ blogs, leaving them a little blog love! They are such an inspiration each week, brainstorming and creating wonderfully CAS designs to jumpstart everyone’s creativity!
Don’t forget to link up your own clean and simple creation on the challenge blog by Monday at NOON (CST)!
Happy Tuesday!

Love your sweet design, Melissa.
Thank you, Susan! 🙂
Very clever, very cute!
Such a cute little scene. I like how you used that iceburg upside down (or perhaps it is right side up and I have been using my upside down). At any rate, inspiration for me.
What a fab and fun card I love how this cute polar bear is sitting atop of the glistening icicle. Such a stunning CAS creation.

This really is adorable, Melissa! I love the line of your water and the sweet bear sitting on the ice!
