CASology: GLOW
Glowbugs. Anyone remember those things? I had two of them growing up and still have one of them which our boys like to keep on a shelf in their bedroom! If I had a stamp image of one, I would have totally used it for this week’s challenge!
Instead I had to dig a little further back in time to find another novelty item…a lava lamp! Thank you, Stampin’Up! for having a stamp image of one!
I added a little Crystal Effects to give the blue blobs some shine and to add a little of a realistic look to the lamp. I added a single gemstone to the lamp’s lower right corner to help move the eye around a little bit in this small design area.

Melissa, this card is awesome! A lava lamp really brings back memories…as does the glow bug! (I thought of a glow worm, that's what we had as kids!) I also love the new look of your blog…it got even cleaner and simpler! Wonderful!!!

Lol, the cue card reminded me of a glow worm too, but your lava lamp is just CAS perfection
