CASology: Hot
We got a good foot of snow delivered to our doorstep over the weekend and, while I don’t really mind it, I wouldn’t mind if it all melted and spring arrived a month or so early either!
Hot reminds me of soup. There are so many icky bugs circulating in our area that I have a pantry which contains a few cans of chicken noodle soup…just in case. I’m crossing my fingers that we can all avoid fevers & the accompanying symptoms that are rampant right now!
I made a one layer card for today. The bowl and sentiment are from the Paper Trey Comfort Food set. I added a random little heart to the bowl and applied a touch of sparkle.
I hope you’ll take the time to visit the design team members’ personal blogs as well as our guest designer’s blog this week! They put so much effort into creating and supporting our participants each week! They’d love to hear from you!
Don’t forget to link up you’re own HOT creation on the challenge blog for your chance to win May’s brand new Valentine set (see CASology blog for details)!

I love your take on the cue Melissa. That sparkly heart on that cute soup bowl really communicates healing vibes. Hope you avoid the lurgies. Our last winter was terrible for illness, so am sending warm vibes your way too!
Oh, boy, I wish we could say we avoided all the nasty viruses and illnesses that are going around…I have two young ones coughing constantly and missing days of school due to fevers. Ugh! Yes, we have seen a LOT of soup in the past few days…I wish I had this bowl to serve it up in, because it would surely cheer them up! I love the color of the bowl and the sweet, sparkly red heart! Very cheery bowl of hot soup…the perfect remedy!
What a cute little soup bowl!!
I sure hope that you guys can stay warm and healthy. Even with the warm weather we have been having here, it still seems like everyone is sick. I feel like I am coming down with something right now. Your soup bowl is such a wonderful little image that says it all when someone is sick.
What a lovely little sweet heart!!!
Perfectly CAS and that little heart is the perfect touch
Oh so snowed in here, too, Melissa… ugh. But soup is also what I think of this time of year, not just when I want to shoo a bug away. In fact I made a pot this week… Hmmm.. how do I create a split-pea with ham card?

The perfect image for the cue word! Makes me want to heat up a good ol' bowl of Campbells!
Melissa a cup of cheer that is sure to make somebody feel better! 😉
Love how you placed the sentiment on top of the bowl. Your card is so sweet! Thanks again for having me as a Guest this week. hugs, 🙂
