CASology INSECTS

It’s Tuesday and time for a brand new cue word over at CASology!  This week it’s all about insects and what they make us think of!

I chose to use the ever adorable Cute as a Bug sets (Well Preserved Jars set and Party Elements set) by Clear & Simple Stamps to create this get well card.  I created the spider web using one of the thin line images and then added a little black bug, coating it with Crystal Effects for some shine.  The spider was stamped dangling from the top of the card.  I kept the color scheme black and white to keep it super clean and simple!  I added a black piece of cardstock behind the main panel to bring out the black a bit more.  I just love the font of the sentiment!  So classy!

I hope you’ll play along with us this week as we explore what this cue word makes everyone think of!  We’re currently waiting for a praying mantis egg to hatch in our house as a summer project for the kids.  Truthfully, it kind of creeps me out, but I love seeing the excitement in at least two of the boys as they anticipate the arrival of these crazy creatures!  Amazing creatures, but so not my thing!  Eeek!
