CASology Magic
I apologize to those of you who came here from the CASology blog. Who knew I’d be so deviant with this challenge?! However, I really don’t feel sorry about my behavior at all. Nope. Not at all. The way I see it, I preserved the most white space I’ve ever seen on a card! However, I suppose I should share something just a little more magical for those of you who made the effort to bop over here and see what kind of crazy person actually posts a card like that! Some inspiration I am!
So here’s my actual card for this week’s challenge, magically appearing only on this blog with a bunny for its focal image…because magic makes me think of a bunny. In a black hat. But I didn’t have a black hat in my stash.
Since this bunny is in the magical show business, I decided to give him a little sparkle with my Wink of Stella Brush Marker. I also gave him some sparkle in his eye by using a black rhinestone. The sentiment is from an older valentine set by Paper Trey. I was able to preserve plenty of white space even when the bunny magically appeared on the card. The sparkle adds interest and dimension was provided by the use of foam dots under both the main, die cut panel and the furry critter.
Don’t forget to go leave the design team members and this week’s guest designers some blog love this week! They’ve been working so hard to keep the inspiration coming each week!

Perfect! Just love that sparkly bunny!
Nope, sorry, despite my love of rabbits, and he is very cute, I think I liked it as posted sans bunny. The invisible ink version really made me smile. Definitely perfectly CAS
It really is magic, I'm sure he wasn't there when I clicked the link! 😉 I love the little bunny in silver, this is pure CAS perfectly. Fab! x
Oh no you didn't! So clever!
ACK! LOVE this! And somewhat funny because I was thinking along the same lines! lol But didn't have a black hat, either and no bunny! Which led me to more thinking. 😉
Haha! Your creativity made me laugh out loud this morning! Clever you and great card, Melissa! Love this! May
Ah, shoot, Melissa, I was really hoping that I'd find a blank card and that you'd hold fast to that line about using invisible ink! I thought that was brilliant and it karacked me the heck up! Since you didn't do it, does that mean I still can?? lol! Your bunny, even without the black hat that one of the boys could make for you, is magical and delicious!! Hugs, Darnell
Oh, you are a clever one. Love your magical bunny. Even without the hat. Perhaps the hat is just off camera.
You sure have some lovely shimmer on that bunny!!!! Awesome! Love the Cue word, and great pick on the GDT too!!!
Had a good chuckle with this one, Melissa! Loved the 'invisible ink' hook, and then I come over and find this sweet little bunny. Great card. Love it! Bev
Thanks for sharing–love the card!!!
Oh, Melissa! Brilliant! Here I am, Queen of the Niave, thinking too myself, “Oh,cool! Do they actually sell invisible ink now?” I could see needing some special glasses in order to see the secret message…and then I realize I am a total spaz and then I laugh…at myself and at your awesome card over at CASology! Maybe someday such a thing will exist. In the meantime, I love this magical bunny, such great sparkle and such great white space. Thanks for the fun this week!
Very clever. Love the photos of the children.
Hahaha … so clever, Melissa … love how the invisible ink magically appeared on your blog as the cutest ever bunny … so sparkly and sweet! Anita 🙂
