CASology PINK
It’s time again for a brand new cue word over at CASology! Time to bring out the pink…or not. Maybe this word makes you think of something other than pink! I had thoughts of sunbathing because I am fair skinned and tend to burn, but I went with a different idea entirely.
Bubble gum. The pink stuff. The kind my DH really does not like, but I do! I remember as kids having bubble gum blowing contests (Hubba Bubba, anyone?!)…in the car…and my dad would get so mad if he found little pieces of gum stuck to the interior days later! Oh, the memories!
Stamps: Serendipity: Retro Starburst, Stamps of Life (sentiment): bubblegum4me
I stamped the large circle from Serendipity’s Retro Starburst stamp set in StampinUp’s Crisp Canteloupe ink and then applied a layer of sparkle using a Wink of Stella brush marker. I then applied a thin line of 2-Way Glue and sprinkled some American Crafts POP! Microbeads on top of it. Then sentiment was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink below the bubble. The main panel was popped up with foam dots to add a little dimension to the abundant white space.
