It’s Tuesday and time for a new cue word over at CASology!

This one appealed to me more than usual, but that’s probably because science was always my favorite subject during my school years, especially biology or anatomy classes!

I didn’t exactly follow through with this train of thought, however.  I blasted off in a different direction…

Stamps:  Clearly Besotted

The saying, “It’s not rocket science!” kept coming to mind and I had to go with it.  Rockets, anyone?!  They’re used for scientific things, right?  I’m so glad clean & simple design isn’t rocket science!

Where does this week’s cue word take your thoughts?  Be sure and go say hello to the rest of the design team and our guest designer on their blogs!  They’d love to hear from you and you’ll find more details about each of their cards!

Then, don’t forget to link up your own creation on the challenge blog by Monday at NOON (CDT) for your chance to win a prize from this week’s sponsor, Melon Door Lighthouse!

Take it, it's yours

I’m also linking this card up with the City Crafter Challenge Blog, a new-to-me challenge where the current theme is Geek Chick!  That means science, technology or Sci-Fi!  You can also use the following moodboard for inspiration:

Did you get a chance to see the moon eclipse a couple nights ago?  The boys and I sat outside on the front lawn to watch some of it!  What a sight!  I’ve always wanted to try to capture a full moon photo, so attempted to take some photos of the eclipse.

What great timing for an eclipse!  I think it ties in quite nicely with this week’s cue word, don’t you?!

Have a terrific Tuesday!

Melissa

Amazing photo of the moon. Here we could only see the eclipse… no blood moon… so thanks for sharing!
Biology was my favorite too! Love your rocket card Melissa!

I ADORE that blood moon photo, and absolutely love your take on the cue! Like you, science was a favourite of mine, but more so human biology. Chemistry and physics were not my forte…

The colours you've chosen for your rocket look lovely against the kraft and the sentiment makes this a versatile card. We would love it if you also linked this up to our 'Geek Chic' challenge at City Crafter. http://citycrafter.blogspot.co.uk/

Super card, Melissa! Yes, rocket science is a real science! My daughter and I took out the telescope and tried to catch some glimpses of the blood moon but there was too much cloud cover in our neck of the woods…so I really loved seeing your photo of it!
