CASology: ROY G BIV
Doesn’t everyone love rainbows? I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone complain about seeing one! This week over at CASology, it’s all about rainbows, so you’ll want to join in the fun!
My take on the cue word?! Do you remember learning the colors of the rainbow in school?
For anyone not familiar with this:
R = red
O = orange
Y = yellow
G = green
B = blue
I = indigo
V = violet
I wanted to put the spotlight on this fun acronym so dug out my Mama Elephant Inline Letters dies and got to work. The sentiment is from Verve’s Blue Skies set. By keeping the base color scheme black & white, I was able to effectively add a small pop of color using a trio of sequins.
I hope you’ll take some time to visit the guest designer and design team member blogs this week! Jen is celebrating her birthday today, so bop on over to her blog and leave her some birthday love!

Don’t forget to link up your own RAINBOW creation on the challenge blog by Monday at NOON (CDT)!
Have a terrific Tuesday!

Funny, that's how I originally got stuck on this week's cue: how to incorporate all the colours of ROYGBIV and keep it CAS — your solution is absolutely perfect! 🙂
I didn't learn this and I usually start my rainbows with yellow, which has elicited comments about my rainbows being unusual and now I know why! lol! Love this fun, out of the box take on the cue word!
You are so clever, Melissa! I really love your take on the Cue Card, and how you 'lined up' your sequins in the correct order! So FUN!
Always doing something unexpected, did not know this but so fun!
So sweet!!! And ever so clever! Love it!

Love how this works together! Your use of the sequins is just perfect too! Good fun!
clever!!! I read it aloud and my 12yo laughed and said, I know, I know , the color spectrum.. He is so smart!!!
Thanks Melissa for sharing such a great card!!!
Glad you clarified the letters and I never learned this in school and had to check out Google to see what the colors are. I could tell you all the great lakes but the rainbow is new to me. Clever card.
