CASology SQUIGGLE
It’s Tuesday and time for a new cue word over at CASology! This week’s cue is such a fun one!
My mind took me to pigs and the way their tails curl into a little squiggle! I remembered My Favorite Things has an adorable pig themed set, so found it in my stash and started brainstorming for a design!
I added pink splatter to a piece of watercolor cardstock, allowed it to dry and then die cut the main panel using a stitched die. The pig and umbrella were both stamped, colored with Copic markers and fussy cut before being popped up on the main panel with foam adhesive. A little touch of sparkle was added to the umbrella using a glitter brush marker. The simple sentiment was stamped in black ink and then the assembled main panel was popped up on the card base using more foam adhesive.
Such a cute little pig! I had a lot of fun creating a non-traditional one. Have you ever seen a spotted pig? I think they’re kinda cute myself!
I hope you’ll take some time to visit the design team members’ blogs!
Don’t forget to link up your own SQUIGGLE creation on the challenge blog by Monday at 9:00 a.m. (CDT)!
Have a terrific Tuesday!

This is so adorable! Love the way you did the rain! And the wonky stitched frame is so perfect!
Hi Melissa, Love the little squiggly curled tail and the pink splatter. TH glitter on the umbrella is a nice touch. The spots on the piggy gives him a special look. Great take on the cue word. Happy crafting. Hugs – Bharati
