CASology STITCHes
It’s Tuesday and time for a new cue word over at CASology!
My brainstorming started with exercise in mind, knowing I’m going to have to work through a few side stitches when I finally get serious about running regularly again this fall! My mind continued on to think about the holidays and all the comfort food that will soon be appearing on our plates as cooler days begin to make their way into our lives again. With Your Next Stamp as our sponsor this week, I just had to use this adorable penguin!
DH and I are always responsible for baking the pies over the holidays and this little penguin (Waddles – Sweetie Pie set) just makes me smile as he’s doing a happy dance and juggling those fresh baked pies! Wonder if he’s getting side stitches?? Just in case my train of thought was too far fetched, I used a stitched frame die to dress up my design a bit. The inside simply says, “Happy Thanksgiving!”
I used the coordinating dies to cut out the penguin and pies, coloring each image with Copic markers. I added a little sparkle to the adorable little guy using a clear Wink of Stella brush marker.
I hope you’ll stop by and leave the rest of the design team and this week’s guest designer a little blog love this week! They create such awesome inspiration each week for the CASology challenges!
