CASology + WASHI
It’s Tuesday and time for a brand new cue word over at CASology! Time to dig out that tape of yours and use it in conventional or not-so-conventional ways to create a CAS design!
For me, washi makes me think of masking, so I used it to mask my card’s message.
I added a few layers of sparkle using a clear Wink of Stella brush marker, but I’m not sure it really shows well in the photo. I added a single piece of brightly colored washi tape to add a little interest to the design. The entire main panel is popped up with foam dots for dimension.
Be sure and go say a quick hello to the design team members! They work hard each week to create inspiration!

Then, be sure and link up your own creation on the CASology blog by Monday at NOON (CDT)!
Have a terrific Tuesday!

Fabulous technique Melissa, that is thinking outside of the tape. I think I need to try this sometime! That little strip of red too, finishing touch–perfect!
I agree with Tracey about the strip of red being the perfect finishing touch. I love this design for the challenge and I’ll have to try it soon. TFS
Clever clever as always, Miss Melissa, and I love the pop of red!
Very clever, very fun! (My daughter made a tee shirt using this technique, she wrote a certain band member’s name with tape and spray misted fabric paint around it on a white tee shirt, then removed the tape and voila!) Love the shine and the little strip of red…perfect!
How very cute! I can see the wink of stella! LOVE the colour scheme you used too! Just perfect!
