TCP Tuesday #355: Envie Envy
It’s the start of a brand new monthly challenge over on the The Cat’s Pajamas blog! Have you ever played along? If not, you certainly should because there is a prize up for grabs each month!
In March, we’re decorating envelopes to go along with our cards! I have to admit, up until now, I really haven’t been much of an envelope decorating kind of gal, but this was fun! Like my cards, I still used a clean & simple style to liven up the envelope!
For the card and envelope, I used the Family Forever set! The animals in this set are simply adorable! The main image on the card was paper pieced with a variety of decorative papers from my stash after being stamped with black ink. The sentiment was stamped in black using the Nightie alphabet set. I perched the bear on the R just for fun!
The baby ducks on the envelope were stamped in black ink and colored with Copic markers. I made sure I put a scrap piece of paper behind the portion of the envelope I was coloring to keep the marker colors from bleeding through to the back of the envelope.
We’d love to have you join us in our envelope decorating madness! It’s actually a great idea for making someone smile before they even open the envelope!
See you there!

Too cute! I love the Chic patterns you used on your paper piecing! This is a favorite set of mine so I used it too! 🙂
Thanks, Kerry! 🙂
