Cherry Tree

There’s a little cherry tree in our yard that we planted last spring. I love sweet cherries and now that we have a little space to plant a couple fruit trees, I chose a sweet cherry tree and DH chose a couple apple trees. The deer must share my fondness for the cherry tree as it didn’t survive the winter. I’m bummed, but we will order a replacement and try to protect it from the wildlife (if that’s really possible)!
I couldn’t resist making a little cherry tree from the tree image in Prickley Pear’s Four Seasons Clear Stamp Set. After stamping a one-layer scene on textured cardstock, I used little red gemstones for the cherries and stamped the sentiment (which I also love). I used a circle Nestabilities and a sponge to create the sun and then rounded the corners with a corner punch. Very simple!
