Coffee: Plain & Simple

This week’s Clean & Simple Challenge (#139) over at Splitcoast Stampers is to use a breakfast image that is provided for inspiration. I automatically zeroed in on the coffee cup (go figure)! I also noticed the texture of whatever it is the coffee cup and that delicious looking cinnamon roll are setting on and tried to recreate it with my Sizzix Tim Holtz embossing folder. This was a super easy card to make! Nothing like a quick card when you’re ready to call it a day! I’ll be needing my coffee soon…
Supplies:
Stamps – Verve
Paper – SU Riding Hood Red, Chocolate Chip CS, Gina K white CS
Ink – Memento (Rich Cocoa), SU Riding Hood Red
Accessories – Sizzix embossing folder, distressing tool, SU Riding Hood Red marker, red gemstones, foam squares (popped up coffee cup)

A coffee lover's card! I can't believe I am now a two a cup coffee drinker a day. Guess it could be worse…I could be drinking to POTS. 😉
