Craft Room Reorganizing: Peak #1
Here’s the very first peak at my newly organized, very small craft room. It’s been a challenge to squeeze all my scrapping & stamping things into this little space, but I have to say that I think I’m going to like the cozy nook I’ve created!
Here is what I’ve done with my stamp pads and punches. My husband wasn’t too keen on hanging my punches in my previous craft room, mostly because it doubled as a guest room. This room won’t be a guest room (unless we don’t like our visitors…hehehe), so he was very helpful mounting the bars and the stamp pad storage boxes on the wall for me. The metal bars are from an actual stamp/scrapping storage system, but I know you can get similar things from Ikea! The stamp pad storage boxes I got from scrapbook.com, one of the best scrapbook supply stores online, if you ask me! I chose to hang the wire baskets from the bottom of the lower metal bar and have put some extra clear stamps in them (in CD cases) as well as my Cuttlebug embossing folders. The hanging file system you see on the left edge of the photo is from Creative Memories and I have my current scrapbooking projects there for easy access. (For example, “School Days,” “Brothers,” “Fatherhood,” etc.) Love having these things so easily accessible now!
