Electronic Thanks
I really need this cue word about now as my thank you card supply is dwindling and I have some little boys who need to send some to a few people!
My card was inspired by an iPad, something I do not own (I’d rather have a nice camera…), but seem to see everywhere I look these days!
I created the shiny buttons by punching two different sized circles, adhering them to the card and then applying Crystal Effects! I added the little apple image as an afterthought, just in case viewers don’t have a clue as to what this thing is supposed to be! I really don’t like leaving people in the dark! I’m not up on all the texting abbreviations out there, but I’m pretty sure I got this one right. For a final touch, I rounded all the corners of the card to give it a more realistic iPad look. Looking at it now, I’m thinking maybe I should have made it a vertical card, but this will do until next time.
For more inspiration, be sure and visit the rest of the design team blogs as well as this week’s guest designer, Shelly!
I hope your week is off to a grand start! I endured another cloudy, grey, windy day yesterday. The little snowflakes that briefly drifted from the sky made me shudder, but I’m okay.

How perfect for your boys, that is so cool Melissa. You got your acronym right! 😉
Great male card, Melissa! For info, I always use my iPad in landscape mode, so it looks right to me!
Just as I thought…I didn't think my comment took this a.m. when I visited.
Your 'boy' thx card is just perfect and I really like those shiny buttons to spice it up a bit.
Very clever & unique!!
super fun and clever idea, melissa!!
So clever and I knew right away what it was even without the apple! 😉
I'm glad you explained that this is an Ipad. I'm so in the dark with electronics! I love the buttons and the little apple!
I'm with Bonnie (above) – I'm not even wireless yet and sit firmly planted in front of a big desktop pc! LOL I have seen I-pads before though and recognized it right away! This is such a clever card and so trendy for today's quickly moving world of technology!
Tee, hee!! Now that's totally fun!
How hip are you?! This is totally inspired and brilliant, Melissa!!
